The Five Elements Health Form

Discover the Master Blueprint to a Powerful Health Practice – in 6 Short Weeks!

Qigong (“Chee Kung”) is an ancient form of energy exercise which combines breathing, specific movement patterns, and visualization in a powerful practice that helps you transform stress, center yourself, and improve your health and internal energy. This course introduces you to the Five Elements (Wu Xing Jing) Health form.

The Five Element Framework is ancient and deeply woven into the fabric of Chinese and Eastern cultures. Five Element theory is the foundation of disciplines such as feng shui, the martial arts, and the I Ching (The Book of Changes); and it provides a comprehensive template that organizes all natural phenomena into five master groups or patterns or phases in nature: Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water.

From a health enhancement and medical perspective, the Five Elements Framework provides a master blueprint that diagrams how nature interacts with the body and how the different dimensions of our being impact each other, as well as a diagnostic framework to recognize where imbalances in the body, mind, emotions, and spirit lie. The Five Elements include the five Yin organs (and their corresponding Yang organs) and address the interconnected relationships between them. Each exercise in the Wu Xing is targeted to a specific organ system and helps to support, regulate and balance that organ.

In this course, we will go deep into the movement AND the breathing and energetics of each exercise. We will also discuss the characteristics of each element so you can more fully integrate your Qigong exercises into a powerful health practice. Karen bypasses all the “woo woo” stuff and focuses on the foundational elements of a successful practice, so you can reap the benefits from your first day of learning.

The course is offered in six weekly installments, affording you detailed instruction and adequate time to learn and perform the exercises. By the conclusion of the six weeks, you will have learned:

  • Week 1: Five Elements Form Introduction and Metal (Lung) Exercise
  • Week 2: Water (Kidney) Exercise
  • Week 3: Wood (Liver) Exercise
  • Week 4: Fire (Heart) Exercise
  • Week 5: Earth (Spleen) Exercise
  • Week 6: Finishing Exercise and Integrating Your Practice
  • Time investment: only 15 minutes per day provides significant benefits.

Our goal is to introduce you to a proven health and energy cultivation method impacting body, mind, and spirit, which hopefully becomes an ongoing, consistent practice you will enjoy and benefit from.
